应中科院无线传感网与通信重点实验室的邀请,美国罗格斯大学无线通信网络实验室(WINLAB, Rutgers University)李钧教授莅临中科院上海微系统所做学术报告。
题目:IoT and Future Internet Architecture(物联网与未来互联网的体系架构)
摘要:In the emerging paradigm of pervasive computing, applications change their behaviors in response to their environmental context, which is provided by the smart objects in the Internet of Things (IoT). Due to the inherent heterogeneity of physical world objects, realizing the IoT requires service layers to fill the gap between the low level interfaces of networked objects and the applications which use them. In this paper, we show that the MobilityFirst Future Internet Architecture is an ideal platform for realizing pervasive computing in an IoT framework. In particular, MobilityFirst’s identity based routing, overloaded identities, content caching and in-network compute plane are excellent building blocks for IoT applications. We then present a detailed example of a location based service built using MobilityFirst.
李钧教授简介:Jun Li is now with WINLAB, Rutgers University as a research scientist, working on Future Internet Architecture with focus on the M2M applications. He has received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Xidian University, Xi'an, China in 1983 and 1985, respectively; and he received his Ph.D. degree from WINLAB, Rutgers University in 1999, all in electrical engineering. During 1986 to 1993, he had been working with various research and industrial institutes in China, Japan and US, in the fields of digital signaling processing and computer networking. He joined NEC C&C research laboratories in Princeton, NJ since May 1995 while he was pursuing Ph.D. degree at WINLAB, Rutgers University, where he conducted research on networking protocols for next generation mobile communication systems. From May 2001 to August 2010, he had been with Corporate Research of Thomson Inc. in Princeton, NJ, as a principal member of technical staff, working on advanced technologies for home networking applications. Jun Li has more than 30 technical publications including 11 Journal papers; and he holds 24 granted patents.
